Quay Quarter will be located on the corner of Bridge st, Young st & Phillip st in Sydney’s CBD. It’s spectacular architecture is designed by 3XN which showcases a massive open atrium.
The building will feature office space as well as retail on the lower levels. It will have amazing views over Sydney Harbour & will become an instantly recognizable building upon completion.
Build Sydney’s view is that Quay Quarter will be the best office tower in the Sydney CBD on completion.
According to the official website, the precinct is expected to be home to 10,000 jobs on completion.
The floor area of the development will be 90,000m2 on an 11,000m2 plot representing a floor to space ratio of over 8:1.
It is expected that AMP will take a considerable amount of space in the new tower until the 2030s.
It is expected that on completion the precinct will be transformed into a 24 hours a day 7 days a week precinct, helping facilitate Sydney evolving into becoming a global city.
