Circular Quay is not just a spectacular tourist site (especially on a warm clear summers day). It provides a very important function of being a major transport interchange with heavy-rail, light-rail and ferry services.
Therefore it is of high importance to the city as a whole that we get the precinct right and this is exactly what is intended to happen with a major uplift for the Circular Quay precinct.
Currently now being one of Sydney’s largest interchanges and one of the most tourist-heavy regions, Circular Quay is set to benefit from a proposed major upgrade to the Circular Quay Ferry Terminal. This infrastructure upgrade will really bring this pocket of the city into the spotlight, especially as it becomes a lot more easily accessible by marine transport.
