It is expected to begin construction sometime in 2017. The developer of this project is Coronation Property, who is also developing the landmark development in Liverpool known as The Paper Mill, which is currently under construction & nearly topped out (update: as of July 2018 it has developed 3 of the 4 Paper Mill towers being the original paper mill, the bindery & the gild. Only the Foundry remains to start development, however, it is expected to begin once the appeal is approved within the Liverpool city council’s planning office.
According to AU Abroad, QT Hotels will be launching the first 5-star hotel & resort in Parramatta by 2020. This clearly indicates that 8 Phillip St is expected to be completed by the year 2020.
According to the official 8 Phillip st website, the developer Coronation is accepting inquiries into their opt-in list. Additionally Domain and Real Estate have off the plan sales already running for this development, however, no prices have been announced at this stage.
It will really beef up this end of the CBD along with the Riverside Tower, Meriton’s Altitude towers which are nearly topped out & the proposed 295 Church St Development.
